I call Jabra, and they said that i had to have a bill of sale (which i lost, my fault). They have a proprietary plug that you can hardly even tell if its pluged in, and can't get anything to replace it. The sets had just come out, and they wouldn't take care of it.I will be a cold day, before i EVER get anything with the Jabra name again. I really liked the style of this headset. After the third day it would no longer take a charge. Once i told them i lost it, they basically told me sorry for your loss and for the headset that doesn't work but you LOOSE.This is terrible customer service IMO.
These flaws are minuscule compared to its light weight and good sound quality. My son bought the Jabra JX 10 edition 2 and is not as pleased as the original version. The ear piece breaks about once in 6 months. It has two flaws: the ear piece is fragile and you will need to call and order a few extra (10) at 99 cents each and then you have no problems. When I got my iphone, I could not hear very well with the handset, the Jabra makes listening much better. I have had this Jabra JX 10 for 2+ years. People can also hear me well. The other flaw is the charger, you must be gentle when connecting and disconnecting.
AND they provide a USB connection charger. They just don't have the technology down to work properly. The only bad part of the X-10, is the ear hook, whose tabs that hold it on the earpiece, break off very easily. And the listener on the other head, often thinks I'm on a land line.I have sent two of the new Jawbones back. Much better than all the other chargers. This superlight, unobtrusive headset, works more reliably than the new noise cancelling sets, etc. no comparison. This headset need tender loving care. The charger though, is great, and simple to hook up.
You'll like it." Whichever device I am using at the time, the headset will automatically connect to that device. The sound quality is excellent, and the range is far greater than any other headset I've used.So there it is. In my case, I have the headset paired to both my Motorola Q and my Playstation 3. :-)In the oft-repeated words of mothers everywhere, "Try it. I've had a few bluetooth headsets over the past few years, and this is easily the best one I've used so far.The main talking points have already been covered to death, so I'm just going to give you a couple of reasons why I love it.First and foremost, it pairs to two devices. Most headsets will only pair to one device, so if you want to switch between devices, you have to re-pair it every time. It may not be a ten page review with all the Jabra specs pasted in, but that's how I feel about the thing.
I've owned the JX-10 for over a year now, and am very pleased with it. The size, comfort, and quality of sound is great.I've tried multiple bluetooth headsets with the iPhone, and this is the only one that I have had that is static free on my end.
